Thanks for visiting! First United Methodist Church has stood at the corner of 2nd Ave North and 6th St North for over 125 years. Great Falls has seen lots of changes since then. So have we. What hasn’t changed, is that we are committed to making the love of God visible in the world.
Our services begin at 9:30 a.m. with some informal singing, led by our Joyful Noise. Child care is available during the service, and we also provide activities for kids at the back of the sanctuary. Parents or grandparents can sit with their kids as they work on quiet projects.
On the 2nd Sunday of each month, we provide a Sunday School for children, following the “Sermon in a Nutshell” time.
The United Methodist Church practices “Open Communion,” which means that on the first Sunday of each month, we welcome all who call on the name of Christ to the table.
We want you to be comfortable in the service. People dress in a variety of styles–so if you want to wear casual clothes in preparation for after church activities, you won’t be the only ones.
Services last just about an hour–sometimes a bit longer on special occasions. Music holds a special place in our services and we are blessed with some great musicians. New folks are always welcome in the choir.
During the week, we provide a variety of opportunities for deepening your faith and discipleship. Pastor Nancy will be glad to get you connected.
If you are looking for a place to love, connect and serve–we hope you will join us.
